Getting to know me
Let me introduce myself...
I am Dr. Mark, a general dentist with an office located in
Fairfield, California. I have been in practice here for over
14 years. In the spring of 1993 I got my DDS from Virginia
Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia-
School of Dentistry (could the name be any longer?) I then
moved to Fairfield, where I was born and raised, and soon
took over my father's dental practice when he moved to UT.
Kristin, my wife for over 20 yrs., and I are the proud parents
of four great children. I enjoy photography, reading, cycling,
swimming, boating, wake boarding, golfing, and jogging. I also enjoy hiking in the beautiful green and brown hills around Fairfield. I may joke around to put you at ease, but, be assured - I don't joke around about dentistry and your dental health. That is taken very seriously because it concerns you and your future.
I continue to educate myself on the latest techniques and procedures in the dental field so I can better treat and help my patients. I am a member of the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentists, and the Napa Solano Dental Society. I am also trained in, and continue to practice, Orognathic Bioesthetic Dentistry. It sounds complicated but simply put, it allows your bite to function properly so your teeth stay in pristine condition, and it improves your appearance (smile).
